Mid LevelZealogics Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer / Electro-Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in NX and SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies, managing the design lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development.

Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies using NX and SolidWorks
Manage end-to-end design lifecycle including modelling, drafting, detailing, and revision control
Perform cable/harness routing and integration in 3D environments
Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support product development
Manage product structure and BoMs in Teamcenter
Support and participate in CR/ECN processes
Conduct tolerance analysis, GD&T, and design validation reviews
Participate in FMEA and other risk assessment/mitigation activities
Document procedures and design reports as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on expertise in NX and SolidWorks
Extensive experience in mechanical design
Experience in cable routing
Experience working within Teamcenter PLM systems
Knowledge of Change Request / Engineering Change Notice (CR/ECN) processes
BoM management experience
Product documentation experience
Strong experience with Siemens NX and SolidWorks CAD tools
Proficient in Teamcenter PLM system
Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and manufacturing feasibility
Experience with cable routing, electro-mechanical packaging, and assembly design
Good knowledge of BoM creation and maintenance
Exposure to FMEA, DFMEA, and risk analysis techniques
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Preferred
Familiarity with CR/ECN processes and engineering documentation standards
Knowledge of procedure writing and technical documentation best practices
Awareness of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
Prior experience in a regulated or high-precision industry
