INSPECTOR IV - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

Use standard inspection equipment including Vision Systems, hand tools, go/no gages, pin gages, ect
Must be flexible to work in multiple inspection areas in order to meet customer demands
Set up, program and operate measuring systems to determine whether parts meet print dimensions
Establish daily priorities and determine the most important tasks to perform at any given time of the day
Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision
Use various software applications including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
Communicate the results of inspections to Engineering, Inspection and Management
Train other employees on the use of the Vision Systems and other more standard measurement equipment
Work with engineering to troubleshoot and solve issues related to inspection of components, or other similar problems
Must be able to complete and pass training program for Zeiss software (CMM program)
Enter, pull and track data in SAP software
Must be able to maintain professional relationship with customers
Organize customer source inspections
Other quality related duties may be assigned

Qualification

Required

HS Diploma or equivalent work experience; Associate's degree in technical specialty is a plus
Five plus years experience in Quality
Thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and ability to measure features for this criteria
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Must be able to complete and pass training program for Zeiss software (CMM program)
Must be flexible to work in multiple inspection areas in order to meet customer demands
Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision
Must be able to maintain professional relationship with customers

Preferred

CMM programming skills preferred but not required
Working knowledge of AS9100 preferred
Basic print reading skills could be tested during the interview process
