Operations Strategy Intern

Responsibilities

Analyze strategic operations scenarios and trade-offs including Make vs. Buy decisions, footprint location decisions, and project prioritization tradeoffs
Analyze past and current operations performance trends to determine priorities for long term strategic action
Research trends in operations and supply chain including benchmarking best practices, emerging technologies, and process innovations
Assist with preparation of management presentations on strategy topics
Support project documentation, and facilitate communication across the operations team

Required

Have earned a high school diploma or GED
Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Related Major from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered)
Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
Like to creatively solve problems using data and analytics
Are intellectually curious and a self-starter
Due to ITAR restrictions at many of our locations, candidates with US Citizenship are required

Preferred

Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project in supply chain, manufacturing, operations management, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement
