Responsibilities

Performs complex studies of the interrelationships of internal workforce management programs to achieve or ensure optimization
Conducting studies or analyses of workforce requirements based on changing missions and programs
Planning, conducting, or participating in special studies or task forces and assists headquarters and field offices with the creation of innovative products to support leadership decision making
Researching and responding to various inquiries and taskings as directed by senior OFO Leadership

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Providing senior leaders with analytical insight into the Table of Organization; Planning and conducting special studies, personally or through team members; advising managers, developing and evaluating internal policies in assigned program areas; Providing technical assistance and direct support to management staff in all matters relating to the application of workforce data management systems and programs; Developing comprehensive long-range hiring plans; Facilitating the effective filling of vacancies and execution of personnel actions

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience
You must meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process
You must serve a one year probationary period during the first year of his/her initial permanent federal appointment to determine fitness for continued employment
