Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer (General/Fire Prevention/Mechanical/Electrical)
The U.S. Army Engineer District is seeking a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer. This role involves overseeing the Mechanical/Fire Protection Section, directing engineering and construction programs within the Honolulu Engineer District.

Responsibilities
Formulates internal working policies and plans, directs, coordinates and supervises the general review work of professional technical subordinates
Coordinates section activities and reviews completed work to assure that recommendations and actions of engineers are in accordance with established policies, that sound and economic design is carried out, that suspense dates and priorities are met
Confers with and advises staff on policy or procedural matters, on controversial technical matters or to assist in the formulation of appropriate recommendations or actions
Reviews and analyzes new or revised criteria, data, policy determination, etc., and furnishes clarification or interpretation to members of the district offices, other districts, POD or other individuals concerned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering from an accredited program
Professional registration as a licensed professional engineer is required
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service
Current, active, valid Professional Engineer (PE) License by any state, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Ability to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement upon entering the position and annually
Possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions
Benefits
Salary includes a 22.21% locality payment.
In addition, a cost of living allowance (COLA) of 8.64% is currently authorized; subject to change.
Relocation expenses reimbursed: Yes—You may qualify for reimbursement of relocation expenses in accordance with agency policy.
