Responsibilities
Geotechnical field investigations
Geotechnical and environmental in-situ testing
Installation of instrumentation in the field
Coordination and interpretation of lab tests
Geotechnical and structural engineering analysis and calculations
Technical memos, reports, and construction specifications
Design and modification of drawings using AutoCAD
Field construction oversight, monitoring, and testing
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering
0 to 3+ years of experience
Familiarity with CAD and drafting
Excellent writing and speaking skills
Valid US driver's license
Ability to travel, including for overnight and away assignments
Ability to perform field work under variable weather conditions and at active construction sites
Preferred
M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering
GIS and modeling experience
40-hr OSHA/HAZWOPER training
