They are seeking a Vice President for Rates Product Development to contribute to product offerings and growth in the fixed income sector, while collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams to enhance client solutions.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the overall rates product development, covering new product offerings as well as existing products growth, , including but not limited to interest rate futures and OTC cleared interest rate derivatives such as IRS, CCS, etc

Identify the market demand and use case, and formulate and execute actionable and measurable initiatives to achieve successful product performance in market liquidity and volume

Work with Sales and Marketing teams to come up with product solutions / scheme enhancements to address client demand / market pain points

Severe as a product expert to enable client participation; collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop extensive users for OTC cleared and on-exchange traded interest rate derivatives

Manage the design and implementation of effective incentives schemes

Work closely with other product team members and strive to achieve cross-sell synergies among OTC and listed products

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including platforms, operations, legal, risk, etc. to ensure product efficiency and competitiveness

Required

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong blend of financial acumen, product expertise and leadership capabilities

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the fixed income industry, with a proven record in product design / sales with well-established institutional network

Comprehensive understanding of China economic and regulatory environment, fixed income market and strong knowhow about the interest rate derivatives market microstructure

Self-motivated, goal-oriented and strong spirit of teamwork and collaboration

Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to articulate well-structured storylines

Overseas travel is required

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
