Versent is a growing company expanding its team in Houston, and they are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will design, implement, and lead the development of scalable digital solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of secure, scalable digital solutions on AWS, ensuring alignment with platform standards

Provide hands-on technical guidance and uphold best practices across cross-functional teams

Partner with the Product Lead to design solutions for business use cases using established patterns

Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment

Manage backlog, Agile ceremonies, and sprint planning for timely delivery

Become a Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentoring team members and promoting consistent platform use

Qualification

Required

Deep experience with Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, and AWS CDK

Experience with Orkes/Conductor, Step Functions, or similar orchestration concepts

Strong skills in TypeScript (Node.js) and Python

Familiarity with React or Angular

Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases

Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline

Strong understanding of OAuth2, authentication flows, and API security

Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms is desirable

Proven ability to lead teams, deliver in Agile environments, and produce technical documentation

Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders

Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices

Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and version control (Git)

Preferred

Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms and integration approaches

Exposure to AI/ML workflows

Ability to contribute to platform strategy and solution design
