BikesOnline USA is a company passionate about cycling and dedicated to improving lives through their products. They are seeking a Bookkeeper to support the US Accounting team with data entry, transaction processing, and maintaining precise financial records in a remote work environment.

Retail

Responsibilities

Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable
Allocate cash payments to sales transactions
Reconcile discrepancies or errors identified and communicate accordingly
Ensure proper documentation is maintained for bank reconciliation
Process bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
Provide support for financial reporting and analysis as needed
Adhere to the company’s financial policies and procedures
Prepare monthly financial analysis and reconciliation files
Provide administrative support to accounting functions
Process daily customer refunds upon verification of stock returns and communicate issue resolutions with the customer service team
Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations

Required

Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficient in accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
Professional, ethical, and collaborative approach

Preferred

Relevant certifications (e.g., Xero Certification) a plus
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP is advantageous
Experience with payroll processing and bookkeeping for multiple entities is advantageous
