Builder Sales Manager

They are seeking a Builder Sales Manager to establish and maintain relationships with strategic trade associates, enhance product knowledge, and drive sales growth in the building segment across New England.

Responsibilities

Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic trade associates. These relationships are used to leverage BSH position in the market and increase revenue through specification
Identifies and pursues key business channels (architecture firms, developers, contractors, designers and marketing firms)
Assists in the execution of trade specific events to maintain and enhance product knowledge and market awareness to drive sales results
Works collaboratively with the established sales team to achieve sales growth in both single family and multifamily building segment
Responsible for quote tool and providing pricing in the market consistent with controlling guidelines
Manages and organizes on-going product presentations to key business channel professionals
Maintains all aspect of Builder account relationship with appropriate dealers and district sales manager
Manages execution of lead generation service
Performs all other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree (Sales Related Fields) – Required
5-7 Years of Experience (Trade Focused Experience) – Required
Previous experience selling to residential and commercial builders desired, preferably the sale of appliance products
Proven track record of ability to excel in attaining maximum sales results through successful interaction with established customers and the development of new prospects
Requires strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work independently under time sensitive deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Frequent travel required including some overnights and weekends
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
Demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good negotiation and influencing skills
Strong networking skills
Normal office equipment; e.g., computer, copier, fax machine, etc
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Domestic Travel by car, airplane, boat, etc. - can include overnight and weekends
Must be able to drive to visit assigned accounts daily in territory
Must have an active driver's license in good standing with the DMV
Travel Percentage – 50%
Must live in the territory – CT, MA, ME, NH, RI or VT

Preferred

12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).
