The Energy Management Consultant will be responsible for preparing and supporting energy audits, developing energy performance tracking systems, and collaborating with internal departments on energy topics.

Responsibilities

Preparation, support, and follow-up for internal and external energy audits (e.g., ISO 50001)
Developing, tracking, and monitoring Significant Energy Usage (SEU) performance
Maintaining and updating energy management documentation and action plans
Energy data reporting, including maintaining the energy report and management tool
Close collaboration and exchange with internal departments on energy topics
Organizing and supporting energy team meetings (preparation and follow-up)
Providing support for the preparation of management reviews
Creation of required documentation and presentation of work results

Required

Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
Working experience as an Energy Management Consultant or a similar role
Knowledge of energy management standards and methodologies (ISO 50001, DIN EN 17463)
Experience with Google-Suite, e!Sankey, eSight, SAP, Skywise (Palantir Foundry), and/or Qlik
Familiarity with project management methodologies like Waterfall, LBIP, or Agile
Strong technical, analytical and conceptual skills
Strong reliability and precise working methods
Committed, proactive and team-orientated way of thinking and working
A skilful, confident manner and strong improvisation, organisational and communication skills
Business fluent in German and very good written and spoken English
Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable courses of study and related subject-specific additional qualifications or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways
