Responsibilities

Perform construction observation of transportation/WisDOT infrastructure projects

Perform quantity measurements and computations, record keeping, contractor pay estimate preparation and review of contractor progress; materials testing; field staking and general inspection for transportation road and utility projects

Interpret construction drawings and specifications and take appropriate action to ensure the project is constructed in conformance with the requirements of the project construction contract

Maintain client relations while in the field

Prepare reports, review design standards and code requirements, and conduct field investigation of design problems
