The Structural Heart Clinical Program Coordinator is responsible for leading quality initiatives and registry operations for Structural Heart Disease, ensuring data reliability and supporting clinical decision-making through data analysis and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

Ensure complete, accurate, and timely participation in two required National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR®) programs: the Transcatheter Valve Therapy (TVT) Registry™ and the Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) Registry™

Perform high-complexity manual data abstraction and adhere to national standards

Serve as the institutional subject matter expert for both registries, synthesizing data into actionable insights

Support the full continuum of SHD care from multidisciplinary case conferencing to post-procedure surveillance

Facilitate SHD quality committees for TAVR, MitraClip/TEER, and LAAO (Watchman)

Contribute to broader Heart & Vascular Outcomes initiatives and cross-coverage

Assist with clinical program operations related to performance improvement, education, outreach, and injury prevention activities

Participate in the overall development, implementation and evaluation of the identified program

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the assessment of care across the regional system

Required

Minimum of five years recent clinical experience required

Bachelor's of Science (BS), Arts (BA) or Nursing (BSN) department dependent required

Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize activities required

Effective verbal and written communication skills required

Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team required

Experience with Microsoft Office required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later)
