Responsibilities
Build, configure, deploy, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot virtual and physical servers and systems
Ensure system changes are completed in accordance with developer documentation, configuration management, and documentation practices
Make recommendations to plan, develop, and execute work plans that achieve critical-path requirements
Perform physical inspections and research using system and event logs as well as appropriate tools/software to identify problems, trends, and troubleshoot issues
Provide timely updates to team leads, managers, and stakeholders on task status and troubleshooting efforts
Install, configure, and manage on-prem Active Directory, including configuration and implementation of GPOs
Assist integration leads and managers with problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation
Advise team members and leadership, making technical recommendations regarding system development, optimization tools, process improvements, and support efforts
Use the REMEDY ticketing system to report, track, and document incidents and resolution actions
Perform evening shift work, typically 1400–2200, with potential adjustments based on mission activity
Qualification
Required
Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
Must have 4, or more, years of directly relatable experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows operating systems and applications such as Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11
Must have strong knowledge of Active Directory Users and Computers, Sites and Services, DNS, Group Policy, TCP/IP networking, and LDAP
Must have experience with Multi Factor Authentication methodology
Must have experience building, configuring, and deploying servers/systems in a virtualized environment
Must be able to interface with software engineers, system engineers, and subject matter experts to solve complex integration and technical problems
Must have a current DoD approved 8570 Level II certification such as Security+ CE
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Preferred
Have a strong understanding of troubleshooting approaches and root cause analysis
Have experience with security patching and software management using WSUS
Have experience with NetApp NAS storage
Have a working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
Have a strong understanding of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Have knowledge of Missile Defense, DoD communications systems, and MDIOC operations
Have a degree in an IT or Engineering related discipline
