Account Manager

Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories or verticals
Develop account strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand Avahi’s customer base
Build productive relationships with AWS sales teams to foster collaboration and drive mutual success
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, at client organizations
Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' challenges and aligning Avahi’s cloud solutions to address their needs
Engage clients with tailored presentations and solutions that showcase Avahi’s expertise in AWS cloud transformation
Collaborate with Avahi’s technical teams and Solutions Architects to craft customized proposals for cloud migrations, modernization, and DevOps services
Lead discussions with clients to demonstrate the ROI of AWS solutions and secure buy-in from decision-makers
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in HubSpot
Provide regular forecasts, updates, and insights to sales leadership
Monitor progress toward sales targets and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling Avahi services
Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction
Collaborate with marketing teams on prospecting campaigns and demand-generation activities
Share insights and feedback to enhance Avahi’s sales strategies and service offerings
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a sales or account management role, ideally within a technology or cloud services company
Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and their applications in solving business challenges
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives
Experience managing complex sales cycles and navigating technical discussions with clients
Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM for pipeline management and reporting
A consultative sales approach with a focus on delivering tailored solutions to clients
Preferred
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or equivalent knowledge of AWS services
Experience working with or for an AWS Partner organization
Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDIC, Challenger, or Sandler
Strong network within the AWS ecosystem or cloud computing industry
