Responsibilities

Provide pre-anesthesia care services including pre-anesthesia evaluation

Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other clinicians to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, order and review diagnostic tests as needed, place medication orders

Educate patients and families on anesthesia options, risks, and post-operative care

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction

Required

APRN Certification – FNP Required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team-based decision-making culture

Preferred

Experience in pre-operative or post-operative care preferred
