Senior Forensic Technician/Analyst
Cape Fox Federal Contracting Group is seeking a highly organized and motivated Senior Forensic Technician/Analyst to join their team in support of a federal government client. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail while performing advanced forensic analysis and implementing risk-mitigating processes.

Responsibilities
Performs forensic analysis on computer systems and servers. Investigates cybersecurity incidents using digital forensic techniques and tools
Collects, preserves, and analyzes digital evidence
Recovers emails, databases, and other potentially lost or compromised data
Documents and reports on findings, and recommends next steps
Helps evaluate the organization's digital forensic tools and procedures and recommends potentially valuable changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Six (6) years of professional experience providing software, hardware, and wireless support, including mobile forensic examination to the client based on submitted requirements for functionality and use of developed tools
Skilled in developing, testing, and implementing network infrastructure contingency and recovery plans
Skilled in performing packet-level analysis
Display technical comprehension of relationships, dependencies, and hardware and software component requirements
Interpret submitted documentation, including user and functional requirements and develop forensic examination reports, reviewing and editing, and formatting NSWCDD Security Office publications for security guidelines and policies
Possess knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk)
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cyber threats, cyber vulnerabilities
Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies, cloud computing service models, and cloud deployment models in private, public, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments
Works independently, may supervise/manage junior analyst
Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) certification required within 90 days after contract award
Must have an IAT III level certification
Must have an Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
