Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market presence
Opportunity Identification: Discover and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the logistics sector
Client and Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance business partnerships
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and competitor activities to inform and refine business strategies
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals to achieve targets and foster a high-performance culture
Internal Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure the effective delivery of services and operational success
Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present detailed proposals, comprehensive reports, and accurate forecasts to senior management
Parcel Volume Growth: Develop strategies to attract new clients and secure parcel volumes, contributing to the company's growth and revenue
Additional Tasks: Undertake other duties as assigned to support the overall success of our business and adapt to evolving company needs

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry (specifically small parcel last mile delivery)
Proven track record of achieving business growth and revenue targets
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in Salesforce
Willingness to travel as required
