Principal Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Engineer
Oracle is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to join their Data Center Engineering Analytics and Modeling organization. The role involves leading electromagnetic transient simulations and developing power system models to ensure reliability and stability across AI data centers.

Responsibilities
Lead grid to rack electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulations for AI data centers
Develop detailed MV/LV power system models from the utility source through the IT load to analyze transient performance, harmonic distortion, protection, grounding, and UPS–generator interactions
Ensure power quality, stability, and reliability across all operating modes
Support projects from site selection and design through commissioning and integrated systems testing (IST)
Work closely with design, operations, vendor, and utility teams
Qualification
Required
6 to 10+ years of experience in Power Systems Engineering
Experience in leading grid to rack electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulations
Ability to develop detailed MV/LV power system models
Knowledge of transient performance, harmonic distortion, protection, grounding, and UPS–generator interactions
Experience in ensuring power quality, stability, and reliability across all operating modes
Ability to support projects from site selection and design through commissioning and integrated systems testing (IST)
Strong collaboration skills to work closely with design, operations, vendor, and utility teams
