Responsibilities
Conduct on-site visits to support Preventive Maintenance Contracts, ensuring system reliability and performance. Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points
Visit customer installations to diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site within Greece
Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products
Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future. Liaise with ABB support networks to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer concerns
Perform commissioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and retrofitting of existing automation systems (DCS, HMI, PLC, SCADA), including both hardware and software components, as well as communication networks and infrastructure
Provide ad-hoc technical support to commissioning teams, assisting in the resolution of unexpected issues during project execution
Document and report all service actions taken in a clear, structured, and professional manner
Qualification
Required
University Degree in Automation, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Previous experience 2-3 years in commissioning and maintenance of automation systems and communication networks
Possess an enhanced knowledge of DCS or PLC/HMI systems engineering and configuration
Excellent command of Greek & English Language
Strong Computer literacy
Enjoy travelling, ability to travel around Greece and Cyprus on demand at high frequency
Self-motivation and a desire to learn about new technologies
Team Spirit and a solution-focused approach
