Responsibilities
Leading the Data Center segment and the assigned team within the German sales organization (EL SB / SP)
Coordinating and steering Data Center projects within the German and international ABB organization
Expanding and strategically developing the Data Center segment in Germany
Developing application concepts in medium voltage, low-voltage switchgear (NSHV), and UPS systems to enable the national sales teams to succeed in the DC market
Building strong relationships with key customers and external stakeholders, leveraging ABB’s strengths to capture new opportunities
Designing and executing marketing campaigns and plans in collaboration with German and international marketing teams
Representing ABB in relevant industry associations and working groups
Activating market intelligence and benchmarking to identify industry trends, product gaps, and competitor strategies
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of success in the Data Center sector in Germany, ideally combined with international experience
More than 5 years of experience in sales of technical products and systems for electrical energy distribution and/or supply, particularly in critical infrastructure
Deep technical understanding of relevant power and automation technologies
Extensive knowledge of the German Data Center market and an established professional network
Strategic, analytical, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across business units and geographies
Fluent English (spoken and written); German language skills are a strong advantage
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field
