Responsibilities

Lead the Creation of Detailed Models: Develop and oversee detailed 2D and 3D models, technical plans, and schematics using advanced CAD software to ensure alignment with client specifications and project goals

Project Collaboration and Oversight: Partner with design, engineering, and project management teams to interpret complex project requirements and transform concepts into high-quality deliverables

Incorporate Cutting-Edge Technologies: Research and integrate emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies into designs to maintain innovation and efficiency

Mentorship and Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to junior CAD designers and drafters, fostering skill development and promoting best practices

Review and Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous reviews of drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and client satisfaction

Participate in Project Strategy: Contribute to project planning meetings, offering strategic insights, technical expertise, and updates on design progress and challenges

Document Management and Optimization: Establish and maintain organizational systems for CAD files and documentation, ensuring version control and streamlined accessibility for the team

Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of advancements in CAD software, tools, and industry trends to continually refine workflows and drive innovation

Required

A degree or professional certification in CAD drafting, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field

Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, StarDraw)

Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Demonstrated track record of integrating new technologies and methodologies into design workflows
