Soil & Crop Modeling Engineering Intern - Combine Harvester

The Soil & Crop Modeling Engineering Intern will focus on developing and validating simulation models to improve crop flow analysis in combine harvesters, combining laboratory testing and simulation modeling.

Responsibilities
Supporting the development of virtual crop and cutting models for combine cleaning and residue subsystems
Performing laboratory characterization tests to measure crop and machine interaction properties
Calibrating simulation models to replicate crop flow dynamics within harvesting subsystems
Validating models by comparing simulation predictions with industrial-scale test data
Preparing a final report and presentation of your work to share with crop flow modeling engineers and design teams
Collaborating with SCM and design engineers to ensure models provide meaningful, actionable insights
Qualification
Required
Candidates may be pursuing an Associates, Technical, Bachelor's, or Post-graduate degree in one of the following majors or a related field: Agricultural Engineering
