Failure Analysis Technical Expert
CNH is a company focused on innovation and sustainability in agriculture and construction. The Technical Expert will define standard operating procedures for inspections, conduct root cause analyses, and support warranty claims through technical reports and investigations.

Responsibilities
Complete root cause analysis on a variety of warranty failed parts including hoses, hydraulic cylinders, drivetrain components, engine parts
Perform metallurgical lab activities such as hardness testing and microscopy
Assist with equipment calibration and management
Deliver technical preliminary analysis reports to support warranty claims
Conduct failure analysis of metal and non-metal parts and assemblies and provide root cause reporting
Define and maintain SOPs for first-level inspections
Write up technical reports for the team to utilize to challenge supplier rejections
Utilize supplier specific testing equipment for analysis
Provide a high level of support to dealer inquiries on parts return related questions and reversals via WIT Tool
Utilize CNH systems (telematics, parts diagrams, parts specifications) to validate failure mode and dealer claims
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience
OR Associates degree and 7 or more years of relevant experience
Advanced technical expertise in failure analysis and root cause investigation
Experience in SOP development and technical reporting
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Focus on safety
Preferred
Audit support experience is a plus
Forklift Certified a plus
Materials Engineering Degree
