Responsibilities
Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing process for implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy and ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements
Managing planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts
Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists, and terms and conditions
Ensuring identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability) in accordance with company policies
Qualification
Required
Experience in Local supplier development, Make vs Buy, negotiation, sourcing, Outsourcing and dual sourcing
+7 years of experience in Sourcing sourcing of copper and aluminum, especially in electrical or industrial applications, procurement, supply chain, and engineering and/or finance background desired
Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in SAP, Ariba, SFDB, Ecovadis, Celonis, Microsoft Excel, Power BI reporting,etc
You are passionate about communication, Self oriented, empowered and adaptability
Extensive knowledge in Sourcing/Procurement/supply chain in Direct Materials. Familiarity with nearshore suppliers of copper and aluminum
Desirable strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing processes
Advanced English level
