Responsibilities
Fixing simple to very complex failures on ships and platforms. And very occasionally in an industrial environment
Maintaining breakers and switchboards
Commissioning new equipment. A lot depends on this: fortunately, you can always rely on other specialists at ABB
Providing technical support, both remotely and physically at the customer site
Carrying out (or having carried out) work ‘onsite’, working with colleagues, subcontractors and the customer
Preparing reports and recording work administratively. This is also part of the job
Advising customers on maintenance and possible improvements
Qualification
Required
a higher professional education level in a technical field, for example electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
several years of experience in a technical, service-oriented position
experience with technical processes, preferably already within the maritime sector
a good command of the English language. Knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage
a driving licence (B)
