Responsibilities

Develop and implement a national sales strategy that is aligned with the company's overall business objectives
Set ambitious sales targets and ensure their achievement through effective planning and execution
Leads the Go-To-Market strategy and helps drive the tactical marketing plans
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
Lead, mentor, and inspire a distributed team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the sales team, regularly reviewing and providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement
Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence within the sales organization
Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure the optimization of sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and technology, to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction
Monitor sales, pipeline, and revenue targets leveraging the CRM solution
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
Ensure the sales team delivers exceptional customer experiences, addressing client needs and concerns promptly and effectively
Leverage customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve product offerings

Required

Minimum of ten years of similar or related experience in sales leadership roles in B2B subscription sales
Demonstrated track record of being able to hit and exceed sales and revenue goals inclusive of at least five years in the healthcare industry
Established relationships with key hospital and health system executives
Bachelor's degree required in a related field
A track record of driving new business and developing new partnerships within the healthcare market
Experience working in a growth environment developing sales pipelines and managing sales cycles to ensure successful deal closures
Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively convey ideas to clients and close deals
Results-oriented mindset with self-motivation
Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

Preferred

Experience in a start-up healthcare software environment leading new business partnerships
Strong relationships with health system and hospital executives including chief medical and quality officers and marketing leaders
A Masters in business, healthcare management or public health
