Responsibilities
Managing projects in accordance with the ABB R&D gate model, and report progress in dedicated tools (like NORRD and Planisware)
Ensuring the quality and timely completion of projects within the targeted cost, while coordinating with customer pilot projects and other modernization initiatives
Contributing to technical analysis, decision-making, and implementation in modernization projects, leveraging extensive technical skills in the portfolio and its applications
Performing project peer reviews and design verifications in line with applicable standards and engineering guidelines, ensuring documentation complies with established processes
Qualification
Required
You hold a master's degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or an equivalent qualification
You have at least eight years of experience working in an industrial environment, such as the power and energy sector
You possess sound knowledge of R&D project leadership and applications related to medium-voltage drives
You bring familiarity with medium-voltage drive control platforms
You demonstrate proficient interdisciplinary leadership skills and thrive in cross-divisional collaboration setups, with effective stakeholder engagement across global and local teams
You are solution-focused and have effective written and spoken communication skills in English; knowledge of German
