UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking to network with individuals for a newly awarded contract effort. The role involves providing engineering and technical support services in various sensor work areas, including requirements development and systems engineering.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and technical support services to support NSWCDD at the warfare center, test facilities, Contractor facilities, and in the field

Support shall be provided in the general Sensor Work Areas of: Requirements Development, Systems Engineering, Analysis, Modeling, Hardware Design, Signal Processing, Sensor Operation, Test and Evaluation, Sensor Certification, and Sensor Requirement Verification

Required

Bachelor's degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering

or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics

or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics

or Ph.D degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics

Experience with either or both of: AN/SPY-1, AN/SPY-6

AEGIS experience required

Basic level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Must be able to lift up to 10 to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level

US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
