Responsibilities
Independently deliver features and services with high reliability and quality
Design and implement microservices for video playback, transcoding, content delivery, and analytics
Contribute to architecture discussions, focusing on scalability, availability, and observability
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate services into larger workflows
Participate in code reviews, testing, and operational support to maintain high standards
Mentor and support junior engineers by sharing knowledge and providing technical guidance
Explore new technologies and industry practices to enhance product capabilities
Qualification
Required
BS in Computer Science or related field and 2–4 years of software development experience
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C++
Experience (or strong interest) in cloud services, distributed systems, or media streaming
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
Growth mindset, with an eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
Preferred
Familiarity with designing for scalability, reliability, and observability

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
