The Camp Director will oversee the entire camp operation, supervise camp activities for children, and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for campers and staff.

Responsibilities
Conduct pre-camp and in-service staff trainings Camp Counselors
Assign Camp Counselors schedule and staff activities
Plan, originate, organize and carry out daily and special programs
Supervise office procedures, opening and closing procedures for staff
Define and monitor crisis management plan, including emergency procedures
Responsible for the safety and supervision of the children enrolled in Camp Program and the Camp Counselors on and off property
Meet and consult with parents and the public
Help provide an atmosphere for developing good morale and well-being among staff and Campers
This position supervises the summer camp program
Qualification
Required
First Aid/CPR Certification
Previous Camp Administrative experience (i.e. unit lead, head counselor) and/or teaching experience in a public or private school setting
Occasional travel may be required
