They are seeking detail-oriented Computer Audit Technicians to join their Production Team, responsible for data wiping, testing, and configuring various computer hardware devices to meet quality standards.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Perform thorough wiping, testing, imaging, and reconfiguration of IT equipment to meet specified standards
Use diagnostic software to identify defective equipment and order parts if cost-effective for repair
Upgrade, configure, and test computer hardware and peripherals
Collaborate with the Production Team to drive projects to completion and ensure smooth operations
Accurately record configuration details, audit results, and cosmetic information in the production database
Assist in establishing and implementing standards and policies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure proper placement of inventory, both physically and within the system
Contribute to the organization and upkeep of the technical facility
Other tasks may be assigned to support the team and company goals
Qualification
Required
Relevant education, training, or hands-on experience in information technology, computer auditing, or computer repair
A+ certification is a plus
Proficiency in computer hardware and software, including BIOS configuration and upgrade utilities
Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot various IT issues
Experience in configuring, maintaining, and upgrading PC workstations and peripherals
Ability to clearly explain technical and non-technical concepts both verbally and in writing
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
