Responsibilities
Own the elicitation and capture of requirements from all stakeholders for one or more product features
Own the MBSE deliverables for one or more product features
Work closely with Functional Safety Engineers to support development of functional safety concepts and be accountable for the Technical Safety Concept(s)
Work closely with the verification and validation teams to define and execute the verification and validation plans
Work closely with hardware and software development teams on architecture and implementation of allocated requirements
Work closely, where applicable, with suppliers to validate component functionality
Support product level validation test plan development and execution
Coordinate and plan with program management the systems engineering lifecycle activities to deliver to the program release milestones
Support the continuous improvement of Systems Engineering across the enterprise
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience as a Systems Engineer for Automotive Controls product
3+ years' experience applying Model Based Systems Engineering in a production environment
3+ years' experience with Automotive embedded electronic product development
3+ years' experience with ISO26262 in driving requirements and designs for automotive systems
3+ years' experience with ASPICE conforming process models
BS degree in electrical, computer, mechanical or other appropriate engineering discipline
Preferred
Experience using Cameo/Magic Cyber Systems Engineer and 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
Knowledge of SysML v1, application thereof to system development
Industrial experience of FMEA and risk management processes
Knowledge of product safety concepts
An analytical and questioning mindset
Working level understanding of Electrical, Electronic and Programmable Systems and Components
Understanding of AUTOSAR Architectures
Good organizational skills
INCOSE certification
Master's degree in engineering preferred
