The Operations Engineering Intern will support manufacturing processes, conduct process improvement activities, and assist in implementing new tools and technologies to optimize productivity.

Responsibilities
Support manufacturing through time spent on the manufacturing floor gathering ideas and feedback from operators, supervisors, maintenance, Quality, etc
Conduct process improvement activities using lean principles and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping
Assembles and leads teams to execute improvements. Assist with the implementation of new tools and technologies to optimize processes and improve productivity
Summarizes improvements and presents them to the leadership team when appropriate
Properly organizes priorities and communicates them to the broader organization for the most effective use of internal resources
Writing DB documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
Preparation, analysis, and review of process relevant KPIs and identification of improvement potentials
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Good Knowledge of MS Office tools
Understanding of Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing
Good verbal and written communication skills. Needs to be able to communicate with all levels within the plant
Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis competency
Microsoft Power tools (Power Automate, PowerBI)
VISIO and Microsoft Project Experience
Knowledge in TPS
Available to do a longer term Co-Op
