Responsibilities
Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS
Develop detailed inspection plans, part setups, and work instructions based on engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T
Perform first article (AS9102), in-process, and final inspections
Analyze inspection results and support root cause investigations and corrective actions
Maintain accurate inspection records and support audit readiness
Verify out-of-tolerance dimensions using alternate measurement methods
Assist with calibration, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with quality staff
Qualification
Required
3+ years of CMM programming/inspection experience in aerospace, defense, or AS9100-regulated manufacturing
Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and dimensional metrology
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models (STEP, IGES, etc.)
Experience using standard inspection tools (micrometers, height gages, indicators)
Strong math skills (geometry, decimals, trig, etc.)
Consistent, punctual attendance required
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior inspection experience required
Prior CMM experience required (setup, running programs, interpreting results)
Preferred
Experience with PC-DMIS (preferred) or similar CMM software
Familiarity with AS9102, DFARS, and ITAR is a plus
CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS preferred)
