Philanthropy Gift Coordinator

Covenant Living Communities and Services is committed to serving its community, and they are seeking a Philanthropy Gift Coordinator to support their Philanthropy Department. This role involves managing gift processing and donor-related administrative tasks while maintaining the integrity of the donor database.

Responsibilities

Commit all gifts/pledges into donor database daily, saving gift documentation, and archiving emails
Maintain the health of the database by creating and updating constituent records, as needed
Generate daily gift acknowledgment letters, yearly giving statements, and other communications
Provide entry-level analytics within the donor database by generating simple queries and reports
Support Regional Directors, Directors of Philanthropy, and Project Manager with other projects

Required

A minimum of one year's experience providing support in a fast-paced organization, with a preference for two years of development or fundraising administrative experience in a non-profit organization or related organization
At least one year of demonstrated expertise with Blackbaud's RENXT Pro, eTapestry, or other donor database or customer relationship management platform
Possess strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional computer skills; Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential
Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrates sound judgment, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and work independently
Ability to initiate tasks, be creative in problem-solving and very diplomatic in personal and phone communication
Proven ability to take initiative, be resourceful, and be willing to take direction
Willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team and support multiple staff members, as necessary
Openness and ability to manage competing priorities
Job demands a variety of physical duties including office work, exposure to outside environment, and occasional physical exertion considered light- to medium-duty work. Mobility is necessary to move about. This position requires occasional handling of generally lightweight materials and the physical ability to use various types of office equipment as well as some small hand tools

Preferred

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent of education & plus experience
Basic certification in Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge and/or RE NXT preferred
Experience with Crescendo Interactive is a plus
