They are seeking a Trade Operations Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of trading systems, manage the trade lifecycle, and provide real-time support to traders while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Monitor and manage the trade lifecycle, including order execution, trade booking, and position management
Build and maintain relationships with counterparties while resolving issues utilizing third-party systems in real time
Track position and trading limits to ensure adherence to external regulations and internal controls
Oversee the health and performance of trading systems, DMA connections, and broker APIs
Act as first responder for system alerts, identify root causes, escalate appropriately, and communicate status updates
Provide front-line support to traders for execution, reconciliations, and market data feeds
Document and enhance operational procedures to improve reliability and efficiency
Partner with developers, researchers, and infrastructure teams to support deployment of new trading strategies, build monitoring tools and features, and resolve technical challenges
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis; C++ experience a plus
Solid understanding of futures and options trading, market microstructure, trade lifecycles, and order types is essential
Hands on experience with trading platforms including DMA protocols and 3rd party platforms; familiarity with CME ecosystem preferred
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration
