RADIO TECHNICIAN I
City and County of Honolulu is seeking a Radio Technician I to adjust, test, service, maintain, and install radio transmitters and receivers. The role involves designing, constructing, modifying, and repairing radio equipment as well as performing related duties.

Responsibilities
Adjusts, tests, services, maintains and installs radio transmitters, receivers and other communications equipment in vehicles and permanent locations; designs, constructs, modifies and repairs radio equipment; and performs other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment
Equivalent to graduation from high school and successful completion of a two-year program in electronics technology from an accredited community college or technical school
Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionally-accredited college/university in the United States
Three (3) years of technical work experience involving the installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of radio communications or related equipment
Possession of a valid driver's license (Type 3), prior to appointment
You must submit evidence of your Bachelor's degree in order to be given credit
