The Quality Engineer will work with designs and specifications to ensure quality compliance on a variety of machine parts and components, while interfacing with customers for product selloffs.

Responsibilities
Ensure that projects and process control documents are compliant with requirements, objectives and contracts
Verification of materials and processes and verification of certifications from sub-tier vendors
Completion of all applicable paperwork (working to ISO9001 standards)
Performance of various other quality functions as required to ensure the timely delivery of products to the customer
Assist with root cause analysis and recommend corrective action(s)
Perform escape management procedures
Support the development and maintenance of inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or other technical degree of study or equivalent and 2 years of quality engineering experience
Previous experience interpreting technical blueprints and job shop mathematical calculations in a manufacturing environment
U.S. Citizenship required as the candidate must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Must be able to follow written instructions and to work with little to no supervision
Thorough organizational skills and familiarity with requirements of an AS9100 based quality system
Ensure that all required process operations have been performed on the product that is being inspected
