The Sr Director, General Manager will manage a business unit with P&L responsibility, overseeing resource allocation and strategy execution to align operations with the company's mission and goals.

Responsibilities

Manages a business unit with responsibility for budgets and profitability

Has P&L responsibility

Plans, coordinates and manages the allocation of resources (e.g., people, equipment) to deliver timely results

May manage the development and implementation of general operating policies, processes and procedures for the organization and lead special projects in multiple areas

Responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the company's mission and goals

Researches and analyzes industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest

Identifies and prioritizes product and service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation

Develops complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocations, plans for projects and oversees profit and loss alongside company initiatives

Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business

Owns short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction

Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership

Required

Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 10-12 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience

Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree

Discipline/Major: Business degree preferred

Knowledge, skills & abilities: Experience in planning and budgeting

Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)

Strong analytical ability
