Responsibilities

Assists the Pool Managers, Aquatics Coordinators, and Guest Services staff in the daily operations of the aquatics facilities by performing tasks and duties as assigned
Independently responsible for concessions stand, food preparation, and customer service at the aquatics site
Ensures exceptional food safety standards are maintained
Provides positive customer service to patrons including collecting admission gate fees, selling membership passes, concession and retail sales, and telephonic contact
Ability to enforce pool rules in a professional manner
Maintains the office, concessions, parking area, restrooms, building interior and exterior, general pool and playground area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, removes safety hazards
Adherence to food service rules and regulations set by the Franklin County Board of Health
Assist with event activities
Performs other related tasks as required by Recreation Supervisor, Recreation Programmers and Guest Services Leads
Provide availability and scheduling information in accordance with assigned deadlines
Attend all required pre- and in-service trainings
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the Recreation Supervisor

Qualification

Food safety standardsCPR/AED certificationServSafe certificationCustomer serviceCash handlingUnderstanding instructionsWork independently

Required

Current ServSafe Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain before employment
Minimum 15 years of age
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job

Preferred

Current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Administering Emergency Oxygen certificate
One year of progressively responsible experience at a pool facility
