SUPERVISORY RECREATION ASSISTANT
USAJOBS is seeking a Supervisory Recreation Assistant for the Information, Tickets and Tours program at Hanscom AFB. This full-time position involves providing guidance and coordination of leisure travel ticket information and managing a small staff to execute local tours and activities.

Responsibilities
This position provides clear and accurate guidance and coordination of leisure travel ticket information and referral services for both individual and group customers
Works interactively in development of group tours in domestic areas, for advertisement to the base populace through Information, Tickets and Tours
Initiates action/contracts to maintain displays of information by use by all customers
Gathers, monitors and maintains data to complete reports
Coordinates, receives and confirms reservations for all activities including sightseeing trips and ticket orders
Manages the base engraving program, including inventory, product selection and engraving training
Evaluates and reviews purchase of resale merchandise
Prepares budgets
Supervises small staff
Plans and executes small local tours
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have knowledge and experience providing computer-based travel reservations and ticketing
Knowledge of supply, inventory control and requisitioning procedures
Experience in receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other process of cash handling, use of cash accountability control methods
Knowledge of office automation software
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program
Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Direct deposit is required
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
A probationary period may be required
Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD)
Applicants must be able to provide a REAL ID or present a combination of source identity documents authorized to facilitate access to the installation
