Responsibilities
Assisting with data-driven research tasks, including science-based data analysis to support ongoing project objectives
Using coding to evaluate and visualize data, ensuring results are clear and actionable
Preparing datasets and conducting quantitative analyses using established scientific methods
Generating visual outputs such as plots, charts, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively
Supporting water rights strategy, regulatory compliance, and grant writing
Participating in site visits and documenting site conditions
Performing office-based work as the primary setting for this position
Qualification
Required
Working towards an Environmental Science, Water Resources, Agricultural Engineering or other related degree
0 - 1+ years of experience
Effective manager of his/her own time, setting goals, prioritizing, and completing tasks on time
Preferred
Junior or senior standing in a relevant undergraduate program
The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand tasks in a quick manner, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Excel
Experience with science-based data analysis techniques
Proficiency in coding for data evaluation and visualization (Python, R, or similar)
