Responsibilities
Perform survey work with electronic instruments
Perform field inspection
Check materials for conformance to specification
Perform traffic counts and studies
Communicate with the public
Preparing plans and maps with computer-aided drafting and GIS
Various office tasks
Qualification
Required
Completion of one academic year of a four-year Engineering/Surveying Degree program or completion of one academic year of a two-year Civil Engineering/Survey technical school certificate program
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50 pounds
