Responsibilities

Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements
Lead cross-functional development on new technology from design through delivery for eero’s next-generation wifi products
Work with remote teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines
Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control
Communicate regularly with hardware team, software team, and CM vendors regarding program/project schedule and releases, help to highlight risks and remove obstacles
Drive efficient planning, execution, and track program/project status by tools on daily basis
Generate schedules, program/project reports regularly for board audiences to understand the status and risk
Host program/project meetings, lead to conclusion, provide meeting minutes, and track action items for the team
Lead team retrospectives that maximize learning. Incorporate improvements into our development processes and apply them to future programs

Required

Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years experience in development/managing efforts in WiFi and networking industry
3+ years of professional experience in a technical role as a TPM, PM, or SDM
5+ years experience working directly with engineering team
3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, release, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Prior experience working with contract manufacturers and chip vendors
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals

Preferred

5+ years experienced in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
5+ years experienced working with CM, OEM, JDM to build new products
5+ years experience working directly with engineering team in technologies relevant to eero: consumer wireless hardware, embedded software, mobile and web applications, distributed cloud services, databases, and/or data processing system
3+ years of experience building wireless consumer products. Ideally with knowledge of wifi firmware, drivers, protocols and related networking features
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English required, Mandarin a plus)
Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
Experience developing and launching products that require collaboration between cross-functional and global tech teams
Experience and proficiency with one or more project management/reporting tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, Wiki, Looker
