Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking interns to join their team. The Network Development Engineer Intern will be responsible for deploying and automating network infrastructure across various AWS services, collaborating with automation teams to define scaling tools.

Responsibilities

Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality
Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards
Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production

Qualification

Linux/Unix experienceScripting languagesIP networking fundamentalsNetwork hardware knowledgeProblem solving abilities

Required

Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum
Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
Experience in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Javascript
Are 18 years of age or older
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications or similar program with a graduation conferral date between October 2026 - December 2029

Preferred

Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF and other R&S technologies
Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures
Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
