AWS CDK DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
Mentor new team members in understanding customer infrastructure and processes
Review and approve RCA prepared by team and drive corrective and preventive actions for permanent resolution
Review problem tickets for timely closure
Measure incident reduction achieve by problem record for showcasing during Governance review
Provide technical leadership for change implementation
Review CSI initiatives and aggressively drive for time bound closure to achieve optimization and efficiency goals
Drive delivery finance goal to achieve project forecast numbers
Work on proposals and PIP for identified greenfield opportunity to increase revenue
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or software engineering roles
Experience with AWS environment and deployment
Experience with major AWS services - S3, IAM, EC2, VPC, KMS, Secrets, Security Groups, Glue, OpenSearch
Experience creating CI/CD pipelines in AWS
Strong experience in IaM roles and policies
Experience writing CloudFormation (YAML based) and deploying resources with it
Experience with CDK (Typescript based) and creating resources using it
In-depth knowledge of current Cloud best practices and tool chains including Software Engineering, DevSecOps and CI/CD and Databricks
Must Have: AWS -S3, IAM, EC2, VPC, KMS, Secrets, Security Groups, Glue, OpenSearch CDK (Typescript/Python) CFT (YAML) Databricks
Preferred
Experience with GitHub
Scripting skills in Bash/SH and Python
Security-minded approach with knowledge of cloud security best practices
