Responsibilities

Conduct onsite observations of construction at the direction of the engineer-of-record for various projects throughout the company

Perform site observations of existing conditions at the direction of the engineer-of-record for various projects throughout the company

Prepare site observation reports

Assist the engineer-of-record in the development of solutions to remediate construction related errors and deficiencies

Track the construction implementation of remedial actions for correcting construction related errors and deficiencies

Facilitate resolution of disputes between contractor and engineer

Assist the engineer-of-record in the evaluation of change order requests submitted by the contractor

Occasionally assist the design team with the review of shop drawings

Assist the QA/QC group with the review of design documents and specifications
