Responsibilities
Intern Responsibilities:
4Creeks is always looking for difference makers to join our growing engineering team. Each summer we have internships available in all of our engineering departments: Agriculture, Water, Public Works and Land Development. Our interns get hands-on experience with technical and non-technical tasks as well as a variety of staff members. The internship will involve a wide range of design and analytical opportunities to assist in completing various projects. Some projects include street improvements, safe routes to school, private commercial design, dairy design, and plan preparation. During this internship you will gain experience in things such as:
• AutoCAD (Civil3D)
• ADA Accessible Compliant Designs
• Road Design and Modeling
• Commercial Design
• Subdivision Design
• Plan Production
Qualification
Required
The position requires attaining a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Geomatics
Minimum of 0-2 years of experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel is required
Preferred
Junior or senior standing in a relevant undergraduate program
Experience using AutoCAD and Adobe products is preferred
The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand quickly to follow instructions, excellent written and verbal communication skills
