Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture, manage network devices, and ensure the security and efficiency of network operations.

Responsibilities

Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Implement and maintain current and future wide-area networks (WANs)

Configure and validate Access Control Lists (ACLs) to enhance network security

Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to network devices

Oversee the management, configuration, and maintenance of HAIPE devices, to include KG-250, KG-255, IPS-250, and more

Implement, configure, and manage Palo-Alto network devices using Panorama device management software

Configure network monitoring software utilizing including SNMP traps, NetFlow, and IPFIX to monitor and troubleshoot networking issues on critical systems

Work with Systems Engineers to plan for and design network upgrades and installations

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree with 7+ years relevant work experience may be considered or 11+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree may be considered

Current CCNA or equivalent certification

In-depth knowledge of EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols, DMVPN, IPSec, 802.1x, Cisco ISE, and VoIP

Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Palo Alto, Cisco)

Experience configuring ACLs and applying STIGs

Knowledge of new and emerging networking technologies and capabilities

Active DoD Secret Clearance required
